The Slater family kitchen and a living room is homey and modern, but houses family hand-me-downs. The young couple's yellow and blue cheerful yet bland home is completely separate from the colorful drag bar Carter Slater secretly works at night. We visually played with complementary and contrasting color. Stephanie, Carter's wife, wears and lives in the color yellow, representing the house they live in and normalcy. Carter's color is blue, as it is found in both the club and his house. When Carter finally performs, he wears a dress in Stephanie's color, as he no longer needs to hide his alternate lifestyle. For the performance scene, I built and installed a custom stage and backdrop inside the bar with custom bar posters.
